Without even trying, I find myself creating beauty wherever I go. It feels as though this gift was bestowed upon me by a higher power, a divine spark that guides my hand and inspires my imagination. Drum Making has been a passion of mine for roughly twenty years. Below is a photograph of me with a handmade bison drum, called Pearl, that I created in 2016. In the process of creating the drum and naming it, I called in the heart-felt intention of transforming the challenges I have experienced into the greatest gifts of my existence.

The Alchemy of Mixed Media Collage
Mixed media collage is a transcendent experience for me. It is a realm where I can break free from the constraints of single-medium art, embracing the limitless possibilities of combining diverse materials. There is a magical process that unfolds as I layer one element over another, often inadvertently concealing and revealing aspects I hadn't planned. It feels as though the art is creating itself through me, guiding my hands and shaping the final piece in unexpected ways. This spontaneous collaboration between myself and the materials is nothing short of magical.
